- A vegan Italian dinner of everything your group prepares
- A vegan baked apple ice cream made in advance by the chef

On the Menu

- Mediterranean Salad: radicchio, cucumbers, macerated red onion, roasted bell peppers, vegan ricotta and more

The group starts by making the creamy vegan tomato soup, then tries pasta making by creating strozzapretti and pairing it with a hearty vegan bolognesa. As a pre-dessert, a salad full of Mediterranean ingredients brings sweet notes, and the chef serves a baked apple and vegan ice cream to finish. Guests say the chef shares great tips on knife skills and tells wonderful stories along the way.
Why It Works for Groups
A fully vegan menu means everyone at the table eats the same meal, whatever their diet, which takes the stress out of planning. Guests split into stations for soup, pasta and sauce, then come together for dinner, a format that makes team bonding cooking feel natural. With 6 to 12 guests per private class, it ranks among the most inclusive team building activities for small groups.
It is also a fun pick for a birthday, a bachelorette party or a date night, and for office holiday team building activities it gives a team a shared meal that is fully plant-based, with the satisfaction of a more plant-based lifestyle.
About Your Host
Your class is guided by the chef who founded the school in 2016 as a place to gather, cook together and connect in the kitchen. His cooking was shaped by his roots in Argentina and by decades of living in California, where a wide range of cuisines lets him borrow ingredients and techniques from one another. After years of cooking on instinct, he went to culinary school to add formal technical discipline, and today he teaches the fundamentals and the why behind each step so guests can cook with confidence instead of leaning on a recipe.
Classes take place in a light-filled industrial loft in Potrero Hill with an open kitchen and a 20-seat capacity, centrally located just off the 280. Beyond classes, the school also offers private dinners and catering.
The approach is simple: learn basic techniques, organize your procedures so cooking feels effortless, and build the confidence to improvise with what is in your own pantry. Events are designed to be engaging and social, with clear, step-by-step instruction throughout and plenty of time for interaction, so the ideas that make a great cook come across naturally.
How the Class Runs

- Make and shape the strozzapretti pasta
