- A vegetarian Italian dinner of everything your group cooks

On the Menu
- Antipasto: pesto and ricotta crostini, and lima beans with gremolata
- Truffle Risotto: peas, carrots, chanterelles, parmigiano reggiano and truffles
- Mediterranean Salad: radicchio, cucumbers, macerated red onion, roasted bell peppers, ricotta and more
- Crostata Alle Mandorle: an Italian tart with apricot jam, chocolate and almonds
The meal starts with antipasti full of memories from the chef's childhood in Argentina. The group then prepares the main dish using ingredients the chef found are available year-round, so you can make it again any season. A Mediterranean salad follows, and the meal concludes with the chef's crostata alle mandorle, a chocolate, almond and apricot tart.
Why It Works for Groups
Risotto rewards patience and teamwork: someone stirs, someone preps the vegetables, someone builds the antipasti, and the whole table benefits. That shared effort is what makes culinary team building memorable. With private groups from 8 up to 30 guests, it also stretches to larger teams, which is rare among large group team building activities that still feel hands-on.
The class suits a birthday, a bachelorette party, a Christmas party or a date night, and a meat-free menu keeps mixed groups happy. Among holiday team building activities, a four-course Italian dinner your team cooks together is an easy one to remember.
About Your Host
Your class is guided by the chef who founded the school in 2016 as a place to gather, cook together and connect in the kitchen. His cooking was shaped by his roots in Argentina and by decades of living in California, where a wide range of cuisines lets him borrow ingredients and techniques from one another. After years of cooking on instinct, he went to culinary school to add formal technical discipline, and today he teaches the fundamentals and the why behind each step so guests can cook with confidence instead of leaning on a recipe.
Classes take place in a light-filled industrial loft in Potrero Hill with an open kitchen and a 20-seat capacity, centrally located just off the 280. Beyond classes, the school also offers private dinners and catering.
The approach is simple: learn basic techniques, organize your procedures so cooking feels effortless, and build the confidence to improvise with what is in your own pantry. Events are designed to be engaging and social, with clear, step-by-step instruction throughout and plenty of time for interaction, so the ideas that make a great cook come across naturally.
