How the Workshop Runs
Guests settle in with a drink while the session opens with roughly 30 minutes of guided fragrance education: scent families, the structure of top, middle and base notes and how to blend with intention. Then comes about an hour of independent blending, giving you time to explore, experiment and build your signature scent at your own pace while the team answers questions. The final part of the session is used to finalize your formula, then bottle and label your custom perfume oil.
Standard or Wine Workshop?
The wine workshop builds on the standard blending class with additional fragrance education at each level and a more detailed blending worksheet, plus the complimentary drink. About Your Host
The host is a women-owned fragrance studio and shop in the Elmwood neighborhood of Berkeley. Its founder, a Master Blender, has owned the business since 2007 and opened the Berkeley storefront in May 2023. It began as small batches of clean, skin-safe blends made in a home kitchen and grew into a full retail space and workshop hub, where everything is handcrafted in small batches from more than 900 perfume and essential oils. She and her team have taught many classes, private parties and corporate events, and they love watching guests of all ages light up as they learn something new.
