Length, Sound and the Room
Ceremony length is a choice, with fifteen, twenty and thirty minute shapes available and a longer service if you want one. Sound and microphone handling is part of the job, which matters more outdoors than couples expect: a beach ceremony and a barn with a hard ceiling are different acoustic problems, and neither is solved by speaking louder. Full ceremony coordination is available indoors and out.

Venues and Travel
Ceremonies take place at backyards, private estates, vineyards, barns, beaches, hotels and restaurants across the region. Travel within Monterey County is included; ceremonies farther along the Central Coast are quoted with a travel adjustment set out at the initial visit and stated in writing before any deposit is collected.
Lead Time and What Follows the First Visit
Most couples book the initial visit ninety to one hundred eighty days before the wedding, which gives the homework room to breathe and the script time to settle. Inquiries are typically answered within a day. After the visit you receive the contract, deposit instructions and a planning workback setting out what is expected at each milestone.
Deposit, Dates and the Marriage License
A non-refundable booking deposit is collected at contract signing to confirm the date and reserve the officiant, with an associate officiant named in the contract as the backup. The ceremony date and time are locked once the deposit clears, and date changes inside thirty days of the event are accommodated subject to availability and may carry a rescheduling adjustment. Cancellations received more than sixty days before the ceremony are eligible to apply the deposit to a rescheduled date within twelve months when availability allows. Obtaining a valid California marriage license before the ceremony is the couple's responsibility; the officiant signs it on the day and submits it to the county on the couple's behalf. Rehearsal attendance the day before is offered as a paid add on when the ceremony location is available, and is arranged at the initial visit.
