Travel Along the Central Coast
Travel within Monterey County is included in the package price. Ceremonies farther along the Central Coast are welcomed with a travel adjustment confirmed in writing at the initial visit, before the booking is settled. There are no broad travel restrictions attached to this package: send the location along with the date, and the logistics get worked out with you rather than around you.
Ceremony Types Welcomed
Non-religious and civil ceremonies, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, and vow renewals are all performed under this package, and faith-based or interfaith elopements are equally welcome, drawn from decades of pastoral experience. The officiant is ordained through a religious institution and legally authorized to marry couples in California. Lead Time, Including Late Bookings

Off Season Dates

Deposit, Dates and the Marriage License
A non-refundable booking deposit is collected at contract signing to confirm the date and reserve the officiant, with an associate officiant named in the contract as the backup. The ceremony date and time are locked once the deposit clears, and date changes inside thirty days of the event are accommodated subject to availability and may carry a rescheduling adjustment. Cancellations received more than sixty days before the ceremony are eligible to apply the deposit to a rescheduled date within twelve months when availability allows. Obtaining a valid California marriage license before the ceremony is the couple's responsibility; the officiant signs it on the day and submits it to the county on the couple's behalf. Rehearsal attendance the day before is offered as a paid add on when the ceremony location is available, and is arranged at the initial visit.
