Turn a birthday, a friends' day out or a meaningful milestone into one of the most creative team bonding activities in the Bay Area you can book: a private two hour painting celebration where the entire Sunnyvale art studio is reserved for your group alone. Your guests paint, unwind and make memories together, and everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind artwork from the day.
The celebration is priced at $40 per guest for groups of 2 to 6 guests. It is completely beginner-friendly, no prior art experience is needed, and every canvas, brush, apron and art material is provided by the studio, so there is nothing to bring for the creative process.

How the Celebration Comes Together
Because the studio becomes your own art haven for the session, the first step is a quick call to talk through your preferred date, your group size and any special touches you would love to include. From there, the instructor prepares the room and the project so your group can walk in, pick up a brush and start painting.
During the session the instructor guides each step while leaving room for every guest to make the piece their own. There is plenty of time to talk, laugh and admire each other's work, and guests are welcome to bring light snacks and water to enjoy during the celebration.
Why It Works for Small Celebrations
As birthday party entertainment for adults or older kids, a private painting session gives the group a shared activity with a keepsake at the end. It also works as bachelorette party entertainment for a small bridal circle that wants something relaxed and creative, and as a date idea for a couple.
For workplaces, the format fits team building activities for small groups: a few colleagues can step away from the usual routine and enjoy painting team building in a welcoming, fully reserved space. The class is also suggested for a Christmas party or a team celebration at the end of a project.
Ideas for Your Celebration
The format adapts to the occasion: a birthday with friends, a friends' day out or a family milestone. Because the session is private, the pace is set by your group, and the instructor keeps the mood relaxed for first-time painters while still guiding every guest to a finished piece they will be proud to take home.
About the Studio and Your Instructor
This women-owned studio in Sunnyvale was founded as a welcoming space where children, teens, adults and seniors can build creative confidence without the pressure of perfection. Before moving into the arts full time, the founder spent 22 years as a software engineer and technical product leader, and she brings that same structured, user-centered approach to how every class is designed: clear steps, approachable projects and plenty of encouragement. The studio runs weekly classes for kids, teens, adults and families, hosts community workshops and partners with the Sunnyvale Public Library on community programs. Free parking and Wi-Fi make each visit easy.
Weekly classes are kept small, with a maximum of four to eight participants per batch depending on the age group, and cover early learners ages 5 to 7, skill builders ages 8 to 12, teens ages 13 to 17, adults and families. The guiding idea in every class is that once you let go of perfectionism, mistakes become opportunities to learn and grow.
