About the Instructor
Your guide is a Chilean interdisciplinary artist who focuses her work on storytelling and the healing nature of art. Born in Santiago, she grew up between the United States and Chile and graduated as a designer in Vina del Mar. Her background as an industrial designer and design educator shapes how she teaches.
From 2017 to 2021 she worked as a design educator in middle and high schools in the Providence Public School District in Rhode Island, and she continued teaching in Oakland until May 2023. Today she brings people together through hands-on creative workshops and team-building experiences across the Bay Area, and she donates a portion of her proceeds to local organizations that support community access to mental health services as well as immigrant and women empowerment.
