About the studio
This is a documentary wedding photography studio based in the Mission District of San Francisco. Since 2017, the studio has photographed more than 500 weddings across the San Francisco Bay Area, including more than 400 ceremonies at San Francisco City Hall. The approach is refined, honest storytelling with editorial touches: relaxed, effortless and welcoming to every couple. Zoe blends clear, gentle direction during portraits with a photojournalistic eye for the real moments in between, so the day feels natural while every meaningful detail is captured.
What this package covers
From intimate backyard celebrations and forest elopements to grand ballroom weddings, this full wedding photography package covers the whole arc of your day. Coverage typically includes getting-ready moments, the ceremony, candid documentary photographs throughout, romantic portraits of the two of you, family and group formals, and the energy of the reception. The team is known for blending unobtrusive, photojournalistic storytelling with clear, reassuring direction during portraits, so even couples who feel awkward in front of a camera end up relaxed and themselves. Professional lighting is brought for low-light venues and reception coverage, and a custom timeline is built with you so the photography supports the day rather than dictating it.
The experience
On the day itself your only job is to enjoy yourselves. After more than five hundred weddings, the team knows when to step in and guide things along and when to quietly let a moment unfold, an instinct couples describe as the art of noticing. Background bystanders are carefully retouched out in post-production, so even crowded public spaces read clean and calm in your final images. Communication is fast and helpful, and you correspond directly with the studio from your first inquiry through final delivery.
What's included
What's included with every booking: travel within the Bay Area (roughly sixty miles one way); a personalized Photography Planning Document plus timeline support to map out your day; recommendations from a wide vendor network; a minimum of sixty-five hand-edited high-resolution images for every hour of photography; a full gallery delivered within two months of your wedding date; a sleek online gallery for viewing, sharing, downloading and ordering prints; and a print release for all of your images. Popular add-ons include film photography, a second photographer, and albums and wall art. A sneak-peek set can be delivered within one week when ordered.
How booking works
The booking process is designed to be calm and largely asynchronous. After you reach out with your date, you receive resources to review, including a detailed video that explains how everything works and a customized Photography Planning Document that maps out how much time each of your events needs. For full weddings you can book a complimentary alignment call for any remaining questions or simply for a vibe check. Both members of the couple sign the contract online, and you can put fifty percent down to reserve with the balance due before the wedding, or choose a four-part payment plan for larger bookings. In the run-up to the day, the studio continues to offer timeline support and recommendations from a wide vendor network, so by the time the wedding arrives every detail of the photography plan is settled and you can simply be present.
