How the booth works on the day
Setup takes about thirty to forty five minutes before the start time, so the booth is ready rather than being assembled while guests arrive. Guests step in, the attendant guides prop selection if anyone is unsure, the booth captures a four photo strip in around ten seconds, and prints come out at the side within twenty seconds. Every photo uploads immediately, so guests can text or email themselves the file before leaving.
Two hours, and the events that fit inside them
Two hours suits an event with a defined middle rather than a long evening. A corporate gathering, a retirement party, a baby shower, a milestone birthday, an anniversary or a team building session all have one stretch where everybody is present and relaxed, and that is what the booth should cover. Placing the window is the trick: open it once people have settled, close it before the room thins out.
Up to one hundred guests
The package is designed for morning or afternoon events of one hundred guests or fewer. With unlimited sessions and a group that size, two hours is generally enough for everyone who wants a turn.
Prints in the room, files before people leave
Printing is done on site, so guests leave with the photograph rather than an email. The album stays up a full year for the digital file.
The attendant's role at a day event
A professional attendant staffs the booth for both hours. At a weekday event that role leans toward encouragement more than logistics. The attendant keeps things moving, handles the equipment and makes sure the first few groups go through quickly, which usually convinces the room.
Extending the booking, and the upgrades
The base is two hours at a flat rate, with additional hours at a published hourly rate, so you book the duration the event needs instead of paying for unused time. Upgrades are quoted on inquiry: a memory book, duplicate prints, beauty filters, social sharing, picture to text message, a green screen and a roaming digital selfie booth that moves through the room rather than waiting for people.
Why the weekday rate is different
An event photo booth rental on a weekday is priced for a mid week budget, not a weekend one, which is the practical reason to move an internal event or a shower to a Tuesday if the date is flexible. The equipment and the attendant are the same; what changes is the day, the duration and the guest ceiling.
Travel and where the booth goes
The booth covers Dublin and the East Bay and travels out to San Francisco, San Jose, Marin and Wine Country venues. Travel within a standard East Bay radius is included, events further out carry a transparent mileage fee quoted up front, events must be in the immediate Bay Area, and San Francisco and Peninsula dates are quoted separately. Delivery is bilingual in Portuguese and Spanish at no surcharge.
Confirming the date, and the cover behind it
Send the date, the venue and a guest count. A short reply confirms availability and what the tier covers, a signed agreement and deposit hold the date, and a planning questionnaire follows so branding, color preferences and music are right. One date change is free subject to availability, later moves carry an administrative fee, and a cancellation inside thirty days of the event forfeits the booked amount. General liability insurance is carried.
Choosing between the two hour and the four hour booking
The two tiers differ on the day, the length of the window and the guest ceiling. Monday to Thursday, under a hundred guests and a clear two hour peak is this one. A Friday to Sunday reception with a larger list and a full evening needs the weekend booking.
Venue access and how the listed price is set
Adequate access is required at the venue: parking, a doorway of thirty six inches or wider, and a table or power within twenty five feet. Listed prices reflect events of one hundred guests or fewer during morning and daytime hours; evening events, or events with more than one hundred guests, are quoted at adjusted pricing on inquiry. Inquiries for Friday to Sunday weekend dates ideally arrive at least three to four months in advance, and weekday events often accommodate two to four weeks notice subject to availability.
