Get creative with resin art in this hands-on workshop in Santa Clara. This workshop offers the option of creating either a resin trinket tray or two resin bookmarks! Create a personalized piece that showcases your personality, whether you prefer an accessory for your ever-growing library or the perfect serving tray to display your latest culinary creation! In this beginner-friendly resin art class, you will learn the fundamentals and safety of working with resin. Our resin instructor will guide you through the process of working with resin using a variety of techniques. Learn how to handle silicone molds, work with dried flowers, mix pigments, and add inclusions in various ways. Customize your piece with extra decorations! You can choose from a selection of flowers and inclusions and arrange them in your preferred combinations. Try different arrangements of the flowers on the tray or bookmark and create something unique! All materials and supplies will be provided, just come ready to learn something new, get creative, and meet other creatives! Each piece takes about 48–72 hours to fully cure. Once cured, your instructor will sand down any rough edges to smooth down all pieces and for the bookmark option, add a tassel of your choosing to complete your piece! Pieces can then be picked up from the cafe. Pickup Options: Items will usually be ready for pickup 1–2 weeks after the class. After the session, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group to notify you of the pickup details. Once ready, items will be wrapped, packaged, and labeled for pickup inside the cafe where you can come grab your piece during cafe hours. Alternatively, we can mail your items for an additional shipping and handling fee. All attendees get 20% off any drinks or pastries in the cafe during the workshop!
