What You Will Make
Your instructor walks the group step by step through making a decorative wreath: securing moss to the grapevine base, arranging succulent cuttings for color and texture, pinning everything in place and adding the final decorative touches. Questions are welcome at every stage, and each guest ends up with a unique wreath that suits any season or occasion.
Succulents are forgiving plants, which makes this a calm first project for anyone who has never worked with living materials. The finished piece is a lovely thing to admire all season, or a thoughtful handmade gift for a friend or family member.
Why Groups Enjoy It
Work groups looking for creative team building activities can gather for a fun, hands-on hour in the studio. Nobody needs a green thumb, the pace is gentle, and the conversation flows while people choose plants and swap ideas. That makes it one of the easier crafty team building activities to plan for mixed groups of coworkers, friends or family.
Succulents store water in their leaves, which is why a living wreath like this one can be kept looking fresh with light care at home. The care card in your gift box explains how to look after it once the class is over.
Recent guests described the class as fun, informative and entertaining. One said the studio provides so many quality materials to create exactly what you want, and called the team friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Another said it was an amazing thing to do solo or with a group.

About the Studio
The class is hosted by a women-owned living-art studio whose name comes from the Greek word for flower. The founder was inspired by the wall gardens she admired during her years living in Paris, and on returning to the United States she turned that passion for green art into a design studio that creates planters, terrariums and zen gardens as unique as nature itself. The studio uses a wide assortment of easy-care plants and now has locations in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Its teachers have hosted plant, terrarium and floral workshops for corporate groups, both in person and over video, and across all of its classes the studio holds a 4.9 average from 214 guest reviews.
Tips for Organizers
Pricing is per guest, so the total scales with your final headcount and every guest goes home with their own finished piece. Groups that would rather stay at the office can ask about having the instructor travel to them within about 30 miles of the studio, with the travel fee billed separately after the booking is paid. The studio also runs virtual versions of many of its workshops, with kits shipped to remote guests for an added shipping charge per kit.
