Description

Book a live band string trio for processional, ceremony, and cocktail-hour music that elevates the entire arc of your celebration. Three classically trained players form an intimate ceremony band that covers everything from the guests-seated prelude through the recessional, then transitions straight into a refined cocktail-hour set with curated classical, pop, and modern crossover arrangements.

The Experience

A string trio is the most cinematic way to set the tone for a wedding ceremony. Two violins and a cello cover a wider repertoire than a duo. The sound is intimate enough for a 40-guest courtyard and large enough to fill a 300-seat ballroom without overpowering vows or readings.

What Comes Standard

  • Full professional sound system sized for your guest count and venue.
  • Wireless lapel and handheld microphones for the officiant, vows, toasts, and announcements.
  • Curated music selection refined from a detailed pre-event planning questionnaire.
  • Wedding MC support to keep the timeline on track.
  • Dance floor lighting effects sized to the room come included.
  • Setup, sound check, and teardown built into the booking.
  • Dedicated coordination with your planner including a final timing call.

Ceremony and Cocktail Hour Together

Three sets of music are covered: a 20 to 30 minute prelude for guests being seated, the ceremony itself (processional, optional interlude, recessional), and a 45 to 60 minute cocktail-hour set with crowd-pleasing instrumental versions of well-known songs.

Planning Your Ceremony and Cocktail Hour

Pre-event planning starts with a 30 to 45 minute call covering run-of-show, processional and recessional music, must-play and do-not-play song lists. A second call two weeks before finalizes the timeline and microphone hand-off plan.

Setup happens early; the room is tested in place, sound balanced, and a backup feed kept ready. Teardown is handled quietly so the venue can reset on schedule.

Why Book Through This Listing

  • Personal contact from first inquiry through the wedding day with the lead performer.
  • Multi-instrument flexibility on one contract covering ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor.
  • Honest pricing with no surprise fees; add-ons itemized in advance.
  • Wireless microphones for vows, toasts, and announcements come standard.

Common Questions Answered

Will the performers learn a special arrangement for us? Yes; up to two custom arrangements are included.

How do song requests work? A shared planning doc captures must-plays and do-not-plays for the ceremony; on-the-spot guest requests are welcomed.

What is the standard attire? Professional formal: dark suits, black dress, or black-on-black uniform.
