Where the Idea Came From
The rescue version started with a third birthday built around one child's love of rescue vehicles: a fire truck, a police car and a helicopter, with colorful photo frames and balloon toppers. The construction version uses an excavator, a dump truck, road signs and barriers so the table looks like a work site with a cake in the middle. Both come from listening to what the child already plays with, which is how the studio approaches every custom theme.
Not a Truck Full of Party Rentals
Unlike typical party rentals, these pieces are made for the child's party. The studio designs and laser cuts its pieces in-house from wood and fabric and paints each one by hand. Many clients reuse the characters as kids room decor or toys afterward, and one family kept their decorations up in the backyard for an extra month. A painted fire truck tends to move straight from the party table to the playroom floor.
Photo Frames and Balloon Toppers
The colorful photo frames give guests something to hold up when the camera comes out, so the vehicles show up in pictures with the birthday child and the cousins rather than only on the table. Balloon toppers carry the colors upward and mark the party spot from across a yard or a room.
Which Events Fit?
The vehicle setup is made for a kids birthday, and it also fits a birthday where an older child still loves trucks. It works for a milestone celebration, a family reunion with plenty of young cousins, a housewarming with kids running around, and a baby shower for parents planning a vehicle nursery.
The Designer and the Setup
The designer is a professional set designer and art director for film, television and theater, trained in set design with a master's degree. The vehicles are drawn the way a stage set is: bold shapes that read from far away. The decor team sets up at the customer's venue around Pinole and nearby cities, standing party characters on magnetic stands so they stay upright on a busy table.
How Much of the Room Does It Cover?
The vehicle decor can stay on a single cake table or grow into a bigger scene through the studio's setup plans. Silver brings four to eight wooden characters on magnetic stands with a complete cake table setup. Gold brings ten characters, garland and balloon setup, and the cake table and character setup. Platinum brings ten characters with the cake table and character setup and balloon decor. Ten vehicles and road signs are enough to line a driveway or a hallway into the party.
Photos Worth Keeping
The designer also builds styled photoshoot sets with local photographers, including holiday family sets, so the photo frames and vehicles are planned with the camera in mind.
Can It Be Made About My Child?
Yes. Custom themes are a regular part of the studio's work: the starting point is the child's favorite toy, show or story. A child with a favorite digger or a particular rescue helicopter can see it at the party. Past clients rate the studio 5.0 stars and say the designer listens closely, refines the idea and delivers on time and on budget.
Planning Notes
Order three to four weeks before the celebration so the vehicles can be cut and painted. The setup is one flat price for the package. Confirm with your venue where the table will go and when setup can begin.
How to Book
